It takes approximately one hour to complete.
Once you have purchased the course, you have one year to complete it. You can access the course with most internet browsers so long as you are connected to the internet. It is advisable to set aside one hour to complete the course and to try to complete it promptly to achieve the best results on the exam questions.
Yes. The course includes an examination. The questions are multiple choice or true/false. There are no essay or short answer questions. The exam covers material from all the course modules.
You will not have access to course content during the examination portion of the course. However, if you have made notes at home you will be able to access those to refresh your memory.
You can re-take the exam two more times. You will have the opportunity to review the material again before you re-take the exam. If you still do not pass, you will have to re-register for the course or consider enrolling in a more intensive program.
You will need to achieve a score of 70% or higher on the final examination to pass the course.
If you pass the final examination, you will get a Certificate of Completion. A temporary certificate will be available to print immediately, while a permanent certificate will be mailed within eight weeks to you at the address you provided when you signed up.

Only one person per username may take the course. Only one Certificate of Completion will be generated per username, and it will only display the name you provided when you signed up. If someone you know wishes to take the course, they will have to register separately.
The test is comprised of at multiple-choice questions generated from a question database. Your test will be different from that of any other student.
Absolutely! The defensive driving principles covered in our courses are useful at any age and skill level. Even if you are already an experienced driver, a refresher course in safe driving principles is always a good idea. After all, driving can become very routine and monotonous over time. A reminder of how to pay attention and drive safely is always useful.

Yes. But after 20 minutes of inactivity your session will be logged out and you will have to log in again.
The cost for the courses start at $19.95. For the BC Distracted Driving Course, the cost is $49.95 plus tax.
No. Graduated licensing courses require an on-road and an in-classroom portion. They must take place over several weeks, as there are minimum hour requirements in order to complete them.
